Hey everyone, it’s me Ata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re probably wondering what the hell BCM Go<\/strong> is and why does it remind you of Pokemon Go<\/strong>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer is simple. As a game developer and car enthusiast, I had this bright idea which I thought of well over a year ago. The idea is to create Pokemon Go style game but for us, car enthusiasts and gamers. Where people could collect cars around the city, fix them, upgrade and essentially race real people in real time for virtual currency or even cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is all possible with Unity3d, <\/a>Mapbox <\/a>and shit ton of coding. I’ve been looking into this for past week and I would really love to create the game of this sort. I doubt I will be using AR (Augmented Reality) like Pokemon Go does, but 2D interface won’t be any worse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, the game will be focused around Bellingham and races would be happening more likely during our meets (every Friday), but later it would be to expanded and available nation-wide with randomly generated racing locations and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering I will be working on it by myself, project will more likely take months if not years to complete. I will definitely keep everyone updated on its progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from that, there’s another project I’ve been working on for the club. It’s called [BCM] Drive<\/a>. < click on it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s essentially a drifting simulator with variety of vehicles. I will be honest, I haven’t worked on it for months but the ideal goal is to get back to it, recreate Chuckanut Drive environment in game create multiplayer. Head over to game’s page and check it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
